After visiting a out-of town dealer and experiencing the high pressure tactics they used, it was a pleasure to go to David Bruce & deal with Dave Sosnowski. No pressure. I was pleasently suprised that after going over prices for several vehicles he said "take your time". I went home to review all options. The 'out-of-town' dealer didn't want me to leave. Had to demand my car keys back. Never again!! I have since bought 2 cars from Dave & I won't bother with any other dealer from this point forward.

I have also dealt with Steve Lach (service advisor) on several occasions. Another pleasant suprise!! He is always very helpful and answers all questions I might have. Having a good service dept. is also very important to me.

I found my 2005 Ford Freestyle posted online. With a great description, plenty of pictures and a low price I decided to call. Dave Sosnowski was able to answer any question I had and was not annoyed with my multiple calls. So I made the four hour drive from Detroit. The car was exactly as described and was in great shape. The dealership was friendly and had great customer service. Dave was a great salesman he had no issue with me looking over the whole car and did not put me under any pressure. Even after I had the car for two days and had an issue with the security system, Dave worked with me all day to get it resolved. I guess, my only complaint is that the dealership is four hours away!!

Mr. Tony Malzone is an exceptional car dealer. He was knowledgeable, trustworthy, and caring during my experience. Most of my experiences with car dealerships have been bad to say the least. Due to Tony, my attitude has changed significantly. Tony made me feel safe and respected and on top of that, gave me a good deal.

I came in to look at used 2010's. Tony Malzone was very helpful and showed me a number of them. The Corolla fit in my price range. Dave Sosnowski knows his craft as well as anyone... scratch that...better than anyone. He was able to do what other dealerships/sales managers weren't able to do. We had visited numerous dealerships and companies and talked to many sales associates and managers prior to Dave. Nobody was able to do what he did! He heard what we wanted, was upfront with what he had to offer (which by the way was a pretty good deal!), and made us feel very comfortable throughout the car buying process which I had learned to hate up to that point. To top it all off, he did all this over the phone! When my wife and I arrived at his office the only thing left to do was completing the paperwork. No hassle, no gimmicks, NO KIDDING! Two years later my brother went through the same process, initially avoided Dave Bruce Center due to distance, only to have me buy his car over the phone (again) from Dave Sosnowski in the end. Having purchased over 100 cars in my 62 years I must say this was the most pleasant buying experience I have witnessed. Dave Sosnowski was outstanding. We purchased a 2 year old Pontiac G8 and the entire staff was very helpful. They know their products, present them honestly and sell them at a fair price without ANY pressure at all.

Tony and Bruce (owner) were great! I bought a demo Cadillac Escalade that the owner was driving. From the moment I walked in the door I was treated in a straightforward manner. The price was right, the people were friendly, well informed, and very helpful. I hate pushy salesmen, and that is something that Tony is not! I would reccomend him to family and friends. My Mom is looking for a new car and I told her to make sure she asks for Tony!

We had an excellent experience purchasing a new car at Dave Bruce Auto Center. I had been researching Venzas and had contacted several dealers. Dave Sosnowski was one of only a few salesmen to give us his actual quote in an email. He also suggested we get an "out the door" quote from other dealers so we were not fooled by hidden costs. Most of the other sales people wanted us to come in for a quote or were playing "the game" of tell us your lowest quote and we'll sell the car to you for less but were not willing to give us a quote. Also, because I had done all of my research on the internet, I knew exactly what car I wanted and what options it had to have. Dave didn't try to talk me into a car on his lot, he worked to find the car I wanted, in the color and with the options I wanted at another dealer and arranged to bring it to Illinois. I was in need of getting new vehicle; was going to wait until Summer months of 2011; On Tuesday, February 1st Blizzard began late afternoon in Kankakee County; driving with my employer in his 2011 Mercedes; tire pressure warning signal came on as passing David Bruce Auto; Closed sign due to weather on service door; mgr and his men were inside; opened garage door (even though it was Mercedes purchased from competitor across from this establishment)mgr. had his service crew check pressure and fill all tires with air; so impressed by their courtesy decided to move my purchase of a vehicle up; went back next day and purchased the Mazda from Janelle, who myself and family members have had dealings -- just a very courteous; non pressured environment -- Other car dealerships should use the DavidBruce crew to train their staff or look into what's going on there -- they have it right.

A very good experience in handling our requests both on line and in the office. Easy to talk to. No high pressure or trying to convince us to buy. We laid it on the line and asked him to do the same thing in dealing with the price of vehicle. I don't like the back and forth with what we can't afford. Great coffee and awesome hot chocolate!

We saw the ad on line through AutoTrader.com. The Avalon we purchased from David Bruce was listed as a "certified pre-owned" car and that was our incentive to drive 87 miles to see this vehicle. Easily the most pleasant buying experience I have had. I found the car I was interested in on line and was contacted by Dave the same evening. We made an appointment for the following morning. Within a period of 1 1/2 hours, we had test driven the car, had my trade-in appraised, reached agreement on price, completed the paperwork and were on our way. Dave Sosnowski was incredibly helpful. Normally, I don't enjoy being around sales-people, but Dave was super friendly and communicative. He demonstrated how to operate all of the gizmos and gadgets that came with the car and didn't once "push the sell." I feel that pushy sales people just make me want to never buy anything ever again, but Dave was the exact opposite of pushy. He made the entire experience smooth and flawless. Not to mention David Bruce Auto Center in Bourbonnais is the first dealership I've been in that didn't smell like rubber.
